Storytelling for STEM – Techpreneur Series

Tue November 2, 2021 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

An important soft skill for professionals in STEM to develop is being able to effectively engage different audiences of the public and stakeholders. In a safe, enjoyable, and fun learning environment, participants will learn storytelling tools to clearly communicate with non-specialists and pitch a complex or technical subject matter with increased confidence.

What you will learn:

  • Deliver information logically, concisely, and memorably;
  • Think outside the box and present ideas clearly at the moment, even under pressure;
  • Persuade your audiences with authenticity, analogies, and storytelling;
  • Build rapport through active listening and being open to different perspectives;
  • Develop bravery, adaptability, and collaborative resilience through micro-failures.
