The event was developed to engage participants to build solutions for the grand challenges of the world by creating interventions with long-term impact. \nAs society faces challenges that threaten cohesion and community well-being\, including climate change\, income inequalities\, and resource shortages which are exacerbated by the current pandemic\, entrepreneurs have a crucial role to play in this transformation and the pandemic recovery will require them to become more resilient.  \nThe Global Goals Jam Toronto 2021 Fall is based on three selected Global Themes\, namely:  \n\nSustainable Local Ecology (Sustainable solutions for the challenges of the Grand River Watershed):\n\n\nCleaning up the polluted Grand River\nConnecting people to the environment through outdoor experiences\nProtecting life and property from flooding damage\n\n2. Human Trafficking \n\nRaising awareness of the issue\nProtecting victims and holding offenders accountable\nSupporting survivors\n\n3.
