About the VR Pitching Studio

The VR Pitching Studio is a hybrid, multimodal immersive training experience designed to help students master the art of pitching business and venture ideas using Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Through a series of 6 immersive studios, we have:

  • Engaged 100+ students and community partners across in-person and online sessions
  • Delivered hands-on innovation and communication training
  • Collaborated with 3 featured industry partners
  • Built a high-impact ecosystem for entrepreneurship, public speaking, and workplace readiness

Meet the Organizer

The VR Pitching Studio is led by Debbie Deer, an award-winning, immersive innovation strategist and educator specializing in VR/AR, AI-driven learning, and digital media. Debbie is also the CEO and Founder of Orion Digital Inc. and Debbie Deer Productions. She has dedicated her career and endeavours to STEM and Digital media programming for the education and arts sector. Through this initiative, Debbie and the COIE team bridges emerging technology with entrepreneurship, creating inclusive, future-focused learning experiences that empower diverse student voices.
