Andrea Bryan has over twenty-five years of experience in the not for profit, with the public and private sectors, where she has worked in a variety of capacities, including program management, community development, training, and career-based mentorship within cross-sectorial organizations.
Andrea has partnered and collaborated with educational institutions, governmental bodies, financial institutions, and international taskforces.
Andrea is a resource and connector for small businesses, emerging innovative initiatives, and programs, and emerging organizations. While in the social sector, Andrea had the opportunity to work with marginalized youth and families, in depleted and priority neighbourhoods; newcomers, and immigrant families across the GTA; professional networks for mentors and sponsorships; foundations, corporations, and stakeholders.
She earned her MBA in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Finance from Ryerson, and is a Certified Life-Skills Coach and a Master Trainer for Aggression Replacement Training (ART), a Community Development Certificate from ICA Canada and an Anti-Racism educator.
Through her work with ACCEL, Andrea combines her business knowledge, Community Building, and social sector understanding to facilitate learning and skill acquisition for the community members and successful entrepreneurs alike.
